This might seem like an ironic statement, considering the fact that I have “entrepreneur” boldly written in my bio. But hear me out…
To me, being an entrepreneur is more of a mentality, a way of approaching life.
True entrepreneurship lies in the ability to envision solutions and opportunities where others see challenges. It involves looking at any situation and seeing its potential for growth and improvement.
In this light, any task, no matter how seemingly mundane, has the potential to become an enterprise.
Whether it’s tending the green, teaching a class or volunteering at a local shelter, the mindset of an entrepreneur can be applied to all endeavours.
A true entrepreneur sees potential, growth, and opportunities in every task they undertake, no matter how big or small.
As the great philosopher Seneca the Younger allegedly said, “It is not the job itself that brings fulfilment, but our own mindset and attitude towards it. Find contentment and purpose in your work, no matter how menial it may seem.”
I’d like to know… what does entrepreneurship mean to you?
